EARTH DAY 2018

KPW is a proud sponsor of TEECOM's annual Earth Day 2018 event. TEECOM teamed with Urban Releaf on this year's special 20th-anniversary event. Together with ten other AEC firms, KPW helped raise $5,000 for trees and plants sent to the volunteers. This year's project brought 45 volunteers together to plant ten trees, and 240 plants and flowers along Internation Street in Oakland. We had a great time with TEECOM and Urban Releaf, and we can't wait to be involved next year.

THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY PROJECT

Last month, CRB invited six members of the KPW team to participate in the Chocolate Factory program at Skyline Elementary School in Daly City. The project encourages kids to think about careers in math and science in fun and creative ways by building Chocolate Factories. They take into account all aspects of building working factories, such as plumbing, electrical components, transportation, and structural elements. We all had a great time and can’t wait for next year’s event!
