Mendocino Community College, Lake County, CA
This new campus features classrooms, science and art labs, a student service center, and a circular community room that acts as a beacon to passing motorists. The architecture is simple and contextual, hearkening to the agricultural origins of the Lake County region. Restrained yet elegant details mark buildings and use simple natural materials, concrete, wood, painted cement siding, and glass.
