New Modular Classrooms & Campus Upgrades
Ulloa Elementary School, San Francisco, CA
The Ulloa Elementary School project includes a new 5,000gsf single-story building, replacing the existing campus's modular classrooms. The new addition is seismically separated from existing buildings adjacent to the new site and uses slab-on-grade floor construction with conventional spread footings. The roof design supports the new building's rainwater collection system, which provides water to the surrounding landscaping.
Completion Date: 2013
Structural Systems: Slab-on-grade flooring, wood-framed superstructure with I-joist framed roof, and plywood shear walls
