Ridgecrest Regional Hospital
The 47,000sf expansion of an acute-care hospital includes a two-story steel special moment frame and a 43-bed tower. The development includes a seismically detached, 25,800sf two-story steel braced frame outpatient services center, and a single-story cafeteria expansion and remodel. The new construction required demolition of 25% of the existing single-story hospital. A design-build central plant expansion was needed for added utility needs.
