Bayer Quality Control Laboratory

Berkeley, CA

The new three-story Quality Control Lab is a critical function for the Bayer campus in Berkeley, CA. The structural systems include structural steel with BRBF frames to provide lateral resistance. The site was formerly occupied by the Clorox building, which was demolished in the 1950’s and debris buried in the excavations requiring a challenging site mitigation design.
