The 10,000sf indoor/outdoor beer garden occupies a renovated brick building at The Hive in Uptown Oakland. The original steel roof trusses were left in place while the balance of roof was removed, creating a unique atmosphere for enjoying the popular brewery’s offerings. An adjacent new expansion structure was used as the seismic support for the original building, allowing the vintage materials to be left in place with minimal visible reinforcing.
